Ids And Ics Installation As Part Of Sof Facility Augmentation

Main Objective

Install an ACS/IDS system compatible with the existing IDS control system onsite on the expansion of the SOF building at Torii Station, Okinawa, Japan. 

The Challenge

The existing ACS system was small and with no additional capacity. The new system had to be compatible with the IDS already installed. 

The Solution

DCEC partnered with DAQ to provide an RADC and Stargate-III system that will connect to the existing control panels. The control panels were distributed throughout the building to allow the network to be balanced and in order to increase the response time to the required specs.
